what The Problem We All Live With is for me.

She is walking excitedly. They are marching around her hurriedly. She’s going somewhere, while they, uniformly swinging back and forth, are escorting her. She looks ahead; whereas they, as we are not able to see, we do not know.

This was purposely painted and done to show a 6-year old, headed to where she will learn a lot, while being escorted all around. When it first came out, it was not received well by those who found themselves guilty with what it was trying to point out and reacted to it negatively.

As we can see, he wanted to focus with her, striding among those who are rigidly walking around her. She may seem to be really looking forward to go to somewhere, because she’s not really in the center, but almost reaching those in front of her.

We can also see a “NIGGER” that was written, which obviously refers to her. There is also something freshly squashed, which may appear as if someone just threw that on them. Maybe it was intentionally thrown to the NIGGER written, which may show that the one who threw it really do hate them.

While looking at it, one can already speculate about what it is really trying to say. Those who are walking, how they are moving, where they are going, and those that we see are written, give to us almost explicitly what they mean. What she’s holding also tells us where they are headed to. Almost everything is given to us, we just have to interpret and identify.

Although it may appear as if this was just done plainly and simply, there is more to it than what is shown. He just leaves to us how we would take and understand it. And this, makes me like it even more.

i so hate NICOLE. (a hate post)

the pbb girl! naiinis talaga ko! grr. epal. X(

naiirita talaga ko pag nanonood ako ng uber or yung sa primetime, and then may ipapakita na tungkol sa kanila dalawa ni josef. yung mga kung anu-anong pinaggagagawa nila. badtrip. X(

tas one time pa, pinakita nung medyo badtrip or wala sa mood si josef kasi may problema siya, tas hindi nya pinapansin si NICOLE, sabi ba naman nitong babae:

"bat mo ko inaaway?!"

with the arte tone, ha. and may kahalong pa-cute na rin syempre. o, game. basahin mo uli.

grr. pero eto, i love her MOMMY! kasi we feel the same. ni-nominate nya si josef dahil AYAW NYA NG PAGIGING CLOSE NILA!!! woohoo!!! <:-P

just wanted to make it clear, i am NOT a fan of JOSEF. so hindi ako bitter-bitter-an ha! AYOKO LANG TALAGA SA BABAENG YUN. X(

insecure? NAH. asa siya. hindi siya yung tipo ng babae na magpapa-insecure sakin. and excuse me! pag ako pumayat at tumangkad, i'd be soooo much prettier than her!!!

NAKAKAIRITA!! X(

if NICOLE goes out of the house, I'D BE MORE THAN HAPPY. promise. :)
[ui, only smiley na naka-smile! puro umuusok yung tenga kasi yung mga nasa taas eh. haha.]

Dead On Arrival.

I've read this article in the yoopee multiply group. So sad. :(

definitely not a chain letter, so don't worry. just read it, please.

A good Samaritan taxi driver who belongs to a small breed brought a severely wounded man, a victim of a stabbing incident to a hospital in Valenzuela. However, the hospital, which I will not yet name, refused to provide services to the dying man because first there was no one who will vouch for the payment of the medical services and second, there was no deposit given.

The driver had no choice but to bring the dying man to another medical institution, a public hospital in Karuhatan, Valenzuela. But when the severely wounded victim was brought there it was too late to save him, the victim was already weak from the loss of blood and in a few minutes he died.

The situation was life threatening but his situation was further aggravated, he was doomed not just by the wound or wounds received he was doomed by the very institution that could save him.

Although we cannot say for sure that if he had been treated by the hospital instead of rejecting him, he would survive. He has at least a fair chance to survive. A 60-40 or 50-50 or even 40-60 chance is better than having no chance at all.

The situation involving the deceased was an emergency, a life or death situation but instead of being treated as an emergency the person seeking medical assistance was made to wait, and was denied medical assistance and treatment despite the gravity of this wounds. Medicine and health care is not an a matter of saving lives, it becomes a matter of the pesos you have in your pocket.

An incident like this usually happens but there is no public clamor, perhaps the ailments suffered by the victim or victims are only minor, it is rare that these incidents would reach media attention. If this incident happens to the poor and indigent, he would not waste his time or his resources to sue or file a case administrative or civil against the institution.

A short health secretary before said “bawal magkasakit” perhaps he should’ve added “bawal magkasakuna” and “bawal maging biktima nang krimen” because an incident like this means literally holding on to your guts in the face of death. You are dead on your arrival and the institution denying you medical assistance has made this a certainty and not just a possibility.

The Phlegmatic/Melancholic

nahahawa na ko sa mga nag-sa-sanguine-sanguine. so i tried to find out kung ano ako. :)

The phlegmatic-melancholic is introverted (though less so than the melancholic-phlegmatic), which means that his deep emotions and anxieties tend not to be clearly expressed. They tend to react extremely slowly when confronted by antagonism or strong emotions. They are personable, quiet, and gentle. They value harmonious relationships. When you are first entering a relationship with a phlegmatic-melancholic, you may be struck by how easy-going and agreeable they are, but be aware that they are not revealing the depth of their emotions to you. They are deeply sensitive and value harmony and high ideals within a relationship.

As a result of his delayed and sometimes dull response, a phlegmatic-melancholic will be slower to speak out, tempted to procrastinate, and reticent. They may appear – or believe themselves -- at times to be “lazy.” At times when the melancholic aspect dominates, he will have plenty of time in which mull over in his mind what his response should have been. He may become easily offended (though he may not reveal this to you) or discouraged.

The phlegmatic attentiveness to relationships, and to getting along and keeping the peace, will “take the edge off” some of the melancholic tendency to perfectionism and critical judgments of others. On the other hand, because he may be more easily offended, he may want to be critical of others yet hesitant to confront directly. The dominance of the phlegmatic temperament may also drive the melancholic proclivity to order and neatness out of the picture.

If you are a phlegmatic-melancholic, you will show a cooperative spirit and a desire to please, and will value harmonious relationships. You are particularly gifted in teaching, mediating among groups, and at counseling individuals. And though yours isn’t the most dynamic temperament, your lack of defensiveness, calmness under pressure, and gift for mediation in critical situations can make you a very effective servant-leader, one who is willing to roll up his sleeves and work along with those he leads by example.

This temperament combination can face at times a greater challenge to his confidence than other temperaments (especially the choleric or sanguine). For this reason, when you are facing a major challenge or have been given a multi-faceted and demanding project, it will be absolutely critical for you to maintain your level of energy and motivation — not to mention your prayer life-- to complete the project. You will want to anticipate the way your moods can get you off track, and take concrete steps to maintain accountability in order to remain focused and energized throughout the task. Motivational tapes, exercise and a healthy diet, spiritual guidance, and a strong sacramental life will be critical.

You will also need to maintain your focus on the big picture at all times, and not be distracted by the “urgent” demands of the moment, or by what other people may ask of you. To this end, it is always wise to seek regular professional, personal, and spiritual guidance from qualified individuals. In order for the phlegmatic temperament to achieve success and reach his goals, he should always work with a motivational program that provides structure, inspires confidence, and ensures accountability.

If you are phlegmatic-melancholic, it’s likely that you are a bit more upbeat than the melancholic-phlegmatic, a little less introverted, more trusting, slightly less moody, more generous with your time, and a more gracious host. You will rarely find yourself angry (though your feelings may be easily hurt), forgive more readily, and do not hold onto hurts in the same way that a more dominantly melancholic temperament would. You are compassionate, sensitive, caring, and tend to gravitate to the helping professions. You are a patient and caring teacher.

You are not as “perfectionist” as a pure melancholic, and generally struggle with organization, planning, and a tendency to procrastinate. You find it difficult to set limits or turn someone down who asks a favor of you; you may be especially drawn to volunteer or missionary work, the apostolate, or other works of mercy. Though very generous, you may find it difficult to set priorities or limits. Your phlegmatic side makes it hard to say “no” – although you really want to. Sometimes your generosity can result in not enough time to “get organized,” be prepared, or to relax. Burn-out and feeling overwhelmed may result.

I so agree. :)
